Certified Career Coach for the Bay Area & Beyond

About

Career Coaching Customized to Your Needs

Every client has a unique story. Maybe you're a student locking down your first post-college job, a mid-career professional ready for a polished resume and a new direction, or an empty-nester relaunching after years away. Whatever the goal, I'll help you get there quickly and effectively.

A Stress-Free Job Search, Wherever You Are

I take the stress out of the job search and help you land a best-fit position with efficiency and ease. My business is based in Walnut Creek, California, and I work with clients across the San Francisco Bay Area and the entire U.S. through video sessions.

When the Career Question Is Really a Life Question

Sometimes "I need a new job" turns out to mean "I need a new direction." Burnout, imposter syndrome, confidence, balance — as an ICF-certified life coach, I help clients work on the whole picture, not just the resume. Many clients begin with a job search and continue into deeper coaching.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a career coach and a career counselor?

The terms are used almost interchangeably. Career counselors often focus on assessments and early-career direction; career coaches typically work action-by-action on a specific goal — landing a job, changing fields, or earning a promotion. My coaching blends both: assessment when you need direction, tactical execution when you're ready to move.

How much does career coaching cost?

It varies by scope — a resume refresh is a different engagement than a full career change. I've written an honest breakdown of typical costs and what affects them: Understanding Career Coaching Costs: What You Need to Know. The free consultation is where we'll scope what you actually need.

Can you help me change careers entirely?

Yes — career changers are some of my favorite clients. We identify your transferable strengths, reposition your story, and target roles where your experience is an asset rather than something to explain away.

Do you work with executives?

Yes. I offer executive coaching for leaders preparing for promotions, navigating organizational challenges, and developing presence.

I've been out of the workforce for years. Can you help me return?

Absolutely — returnships and relaunches are a specialty. I'll help you frame the gap with confidence and present your experience as the asset it is.

Terri — "Needed to return to work"

I was changing careers midlife, and [Adina] helped me redo my LinkedIn profile, resume, and elevator pitch — and rethink how I talked about my experience. I was jump-starting my career after a pause to raise a family, and instead of seeing my skills as outdated, she helped me recognize that my experience is extremely valuable. She struck that balance of being supportive yet down-to-earth honest. She sets high expectations, and you feel motivated to meet them. As a former recruiter, she knows what recruiters are looking for. Thanks to Adina, I've successfully re-launched my career. I highly recommend her!
